The blade is forged out of 26c3 "spicy white" carbon steel. It has convex geometry and tapers at the spine from 4mm (near the handle), 1,7mm (middle), 0,9mm (3cm from the tip). There is a visible hardening line on the blade. The blade was cooled to a certain point - the light part of the blade is hard, the "grey" part remained soft.
